Public artwork commissioned by Santander. The Artwork is composed of four panels and the pattern is composed of glass aggregate and broken glass tiles encased in clear resin and explores themes of motif, memory and permanence.
This body of work looks at festivals that are built up around mythological stories. The images follow the the Hindu festival of Holi as celebrated by migrant Gujarati Hindus living in Britain. The bonfire symbolises the demise of evil despite a boon of indestructibility.
